New Years Eve clothing crisis?

I still haven't decided what I am going to do this New Year's Eve. I know a group of decadents who are driving out to Palm Springs to stay in a beautiful house and indulge in three days of festivities. Frankly, I'm not sure if my liver is up to it.
I have another friend who is taking part in a three-day New Year's Eve sweat lodge in Ojai. Another friend of mine, a beautiful Latina singer who recently converted to Sikhism and now goes by the name Nanak, invited me to a three-hour meditation at the Golden Bridge Yoga center in Hollywood.
Hmm...so many options. My thinking is to do the meditation until midnight, so that I start the New Year off on a healthy note. And then I'll find a little soiree, so I can toast 2008 with at least one little glass of champagne.
Is that so bad?
Now - what to wear. My meditation look is already worked out. Then hidden in my yoga bag, a cocktail dress. Rather than brave the sales crowds, I plan on hunting down my '08 dress online. I recently heard about a site called edressme.com, which is holding a dress sale from December 27 through to January 1. Perfect for picking up a last-minute NYE frock. Go check out the site, they even have a whole section devoted to dresses under $99. None of which I particularly liked, but the rest of the site yielded some definite December 31 potentials. (They don't sell mistletoe tiaras, but you won't be needing one if you're dressed one of their slinky little numbers.)
