We’re all more motivated to exercise, when our gym is like an elite haven. CAA employees should be especially amped, as they have a corporate membership nearby with Equinox’s first Fitness + Spa facility. Even Equinox members from other gyms can’t gain entrance to this exclusive Century City space, where membership will be limited (and twice as pricey), so that the facility will never feel over crowded. Not only is the 30,000-square foot club decked out in the swankiest and most cutting edge equipment, but this is the first Equinox that is literally half spa. Plus, spa services are open to non-members. Twenty luxe treatment rooms (no locker room vibe here) offer indulgences from the Body Melt (which uses galvanic currents to break down fat, tone and eliminate inches) to the relaxing Ultra-Luxe Diamond Experience. After treatments, guests are invited to take classes at the club, including the exclusive new Inka workout, which involves stretching with a hanging trapeze-style bungee cord. During opening week, celebrities like John Travolta already appeared, obviously attracted by the high-end and exclusive scene.
