Environmental ABCs (NYC)
ABC Carpet & Home is not only concerned about beautifying interior worlds, but what's on the outside, too. In honor of Earth Day on April 22, the furnishing giant's foundation, ABC Home & Planet, is hosting a discussion Wednesday, April 19 (6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.) on leading-edge trends in the environmental movement with Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons of Bioneers, an eco-systems restoration organization, and Randy Hayes of Rainforest Action Network, which works to protect rainforests and the rights of their inhabitants. 888 Broadway, 2nd Flr.

I just moved to Los Angeles from NYC, are there plans of opening up a ABC--here in Tinsel Town? Collectively it has the look you present in Manhattan but no one here has the vision to take it a step further. All ex-New Yorkers seem to be pining for an "ABC" in Los Angeles.
