Treasure Chest

Jewelry Box Connection’s Armoire-style jewelry boxesOld-fashioned jewelry boxes boast delicately spinning ballerina dolls and sweet haunting music. The modern version isn’t generally as distinctive, often taking the form of plastic kitchen storage boxes and necklaces hanging sadly from hooks in the wall. Now best friends Stef Longo and Roe Carangi of online home accessory boutique Jewelry Box Connection have created armoire-style pieces out of Burmese maple. Fitting up to 300 pieces of adornment, the jewelry boxes, in colors from paprika to ebony, look almost like dollhouse furniture. So you can still have that childhood flight of fancy, just without all that creepy music. $50-$350, Jewelryboxconnection.com

I purchased two pieces from Steph Longo and I couldn't be happier. Both were gifts. I purchased the Milano Armoire in black for a friend and I purchased the MODZ storage boxes for my niece. What a fabulous reaction from both. They just loved them. They went on and on about how unique the piece were. The quality is absolutely beautiful. If you're looking for a great gift, this is the place. Service was personal and timely. Thank you.

I love this company. They have just what I needed to keep my daughters happy -- unique, hip kid styles. Great for holiday gifts or anytime gifts. I talked to both Stef and Roe and was completely satisfied with the prompt and personal service. I love 'em !
