GO GREEN: Erotic Location

It’s a common misconception that indulgence and consciousness are mutually exclusive. Afetr all, why can’t socially concerned revelers swig mass amounts of bubbly and then recycle the bottles? Well thanks to erotic, sensual and globally aware company Coco de Mer, the proof is in the pudding—and jade dildos. The famous sexual accessory collection, which includes everything from high-end toys to tasseled lingerie, just opened their flagship U.S. store here in La La Land on December 3. The opening party revealed the newest collection created with environmental and human rights in mind, plus peepshow windows in the dressing rooms, "Mr. Permissions" confessional and erotic screening room, and an erotica library. Party goers from Debi Mazar to Lily Tomlin to Ringo Starr sipped Perrier-Jouet’s Grand Brut, sampled sweet cakes, ogled an impromptu performance from Dave Stewart and Nigel Harrison (formerly of Blondie), enjoyed Kitten Deville’s burlesque show and finally listened intently to Deepak Chopra speak about the healing powers of sexual energy.
