A Dog's World

Crystal Canine showcased crystal-laden dog accessories. We get it: Toy dogs are a girl’s greatest accessory. Not to be a hater, but once pooches start sporting Pucci, we all need to take a moment to re-evaluate. Still, it’s undeniably impressive to get dogs to walk a runway (just ask Miss J.), which is exactly what they did at "Crystal Canine" this Monday evening. LA Dogworks (doggie spa) and Swarovski Elements teamed up with doggie couture designers to organize this crystal-laden accessory show, which featured everything from wedding attire to jeans. Celebrities from Diem Brown of Real World/Road Rules Challenge fame, designer Yana K. and Lisa Edelstein of  House walked pups down the runway. From the silent auction post-show, 5% of sales went to Best Friends Animal Society. Although the couture pieces are all gone, accessories of all kinds are still available at the LA Dogworks store. So your canine friend can peruse the shop and pick out anything its little heart desires. Ever feel a little like a sugar daddy? $8 and up, LA Dogworks, 1014 N. Highland Ave., (323) 461-5151

My first and last experiance at K9 LOFT. The concept is great but the management was rude when dealing with an accounting error and did not conduct himself professionally even when I pointed out to him their mistake he still was rude and wrong. Go figure, what is bu$$ine$$ become these days? I think it is important to stay grounded in business and as much as possible keep things professional and not allow MONEY $$$$$ to confuse things. I do NOT trust K9 Loft because of this issue they lost a customer for life. Shame on you K9 LOFT

Press Release K9 Loft: LA's Premiere Dog Spa! It's hard to believe that it has taken so long for dog crazy LA to have a cool and friendly daycare facility but its finally here. Located on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Rosemont, on the border of Echo Park and Silver Lake, and just minutes away from downtown LA, K9 Loft is a breath of fresh air for local dog lovers. Walking on Sunset Blvd. and passing by K9 Loft one can't help but stop and peer through its vast windows. Its polished wooden floors and geometric, architectural design reminds one of a sleek Tribeca loft. K9 Loft is the creation of Gil Dan, Alex Sabouri, and Michelle Zoryan DVM, childhood friends who share a life-long passion for dogs. While searching for daycare for their Vizsla puppy Lola, they came up with the idea of creating a clean modern dog daycare facility that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional. With an eye to design and functionality, the creators of K9 Loft spared no expense. K9 Loft's distinctive style was the creation of LA designer Chris de Simone. Its services include: daycare, grooming, pick-up and drop-off service, non-anesthetic dental cleaning, and training. The 9,000 sq. ft. facility boasts a 2,000 sq. ft indoor play area, 1,500 sq. ft outdoor play area with real grass, a grooming salon that would be the envy of Beverly Hills, and a boutique stocked with unique dog toys and organic food. But don't let the trendy looks fool you. K9 Loft remains true to its Echo Park roots, with a warm and friendly staff, most of whom are former veterinary technicians. Its only a matter of time before this new arrival will be the talk of the town. For more information please contact Alex Sabouri 213-484-6006 alex.sabouri@K9LOFT.com
