Leaf Me Be
Symmetry is overrated. Just ask Shannen Doherty, who got flack about her lopsided eyes. A lot of amazing things in the world are uneven: the Leaning Tower of Piza, the faces of Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d'Avignont, broken Diddy Riese cookies, your face. No, really, your face. Maybe that’s why jewelry designer Jessica Elliot’s asymmetrical leaf necklace is so sweet. Known initially for her signature vintage keys, Elliot has now created a line of leaf pieces. The largest gold leaf hangs at the bottom, while a smaller one dangles on one side as if growing naturally from a branch. Mini-sterling charms of other natural elements like hummingbirds, clovers, and stars adorn the chain. Because nature at its best is just a little imperfect. $188, jessicaelliot.com
