The trend in designer uniforms has gone rough and tumble, with Giorgio Armani creating an off-field wardrobe for Aussie rugby team: the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The sleek pinstripe green blazers—replete with a new crest—and Merlot tie combo makes these thick-necked footballers look as innocent as prep school lads. No doubt, the fact that Russell Crowe plays with the league was incentive to make these guys look sharp. Donna Karan, with her DKNY label, wants to get sporty, too. The company will dress Manhattan cyclists who ride for the Signature Cycles team. Hey, Ralph Lauren! How about those Mets?
