Get Into Mozza

Mmmm....pizzaMozza, the posh Los Angeles pizzeria opened by Mario Batali and Nancy Silverton, is still jam packed and has a two week wait for a table. But there is hope: Last night, the hostess revealed that the time window to snag a reservation is 7 to 9 p.m. on week nights. Why so slow during prime dining hours? Apparently, everyone requests a reservation later or earlier because they anticipate Mozza being booked during that typically peak time. It’s like when your Dad said, “Let’s leave early for the beach to beat the traffic” and every other Dad in America had the very same plan. Mozza, 323-297-0100.
