Just Like Paradise
Leis have a place and time, specifically when piña coladas, hula dancers and a spit sit nearby. This summer, the trick is to evoke a festive, tropical feel without donning garish colors and actual flowers, a possible feat thanks to the new Paradise collection from W. Culpepper. The Me & Ro veteran recently launched the new warm weather bijoux line at her Henri Bendel trunk show. Inspired by Birds of Paradise, the pieces’ curved floral silhouettes set against fiore backgrounds reflect a festive mood with refined grace. Splashes of color appear in turquoise paired with silver and peridot and citrine beads paired with 14-karat vermeil. Although the W. Culpepper collection has graced Olympus Fashion Week and boasts celebrity fans like Jennifer Beals, the Paradise line is brand new. So you can be the first to sport the abstracted floral motif.
