Twilight Star Bright
The twilight hour goes unappreciated. While older generations may have enjoyed a bourbon on the porch while watching the sun set, most of us waste early evening hours crack-berrying or commuting (or both). Norman’s on Sunset introduces a return to the good life with Twilight Tapas and 241 Cocktail Hour Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5:30-7:30pm. Small plates include Scallop Tiradito with Saifun Noodles and Ponzu, Housemade Duck Prosciutto with Mozzarella and Melted Tomatoes, Barbequed Pork Belly with Pineapple and Chayote, and Classic Spanish Bacalao Fritters. A "Full Monty" tapas tasting offers it all. Two for one signature cocktails include Peter Birmingham’s Mesquito (Siete Leguas Platino blue agave tequila with Thai basil, lime, and soda water) and the James Bond classic Vesper Martini Plymouth gin, Skyy vodka, Lillet served chilled).
