Stirrup stretch pants? Really?

Like turtlenecks, shoulder pads and tie-dye, stirrup stretch pants are things I never thought would become stylish again, not in my lifetime at least. But now, in 2007, I am forced to eat my words.
Almost a year after the first revivalist fashion pioneers started wearing them (with a little ironic 80s/90s wink-wink, nudge-nudge of course), I'm finding myself enamored again, and in a totally non-equestrian way.
Here is a nice, classic pair I found by Neal Sperling, that you can buy at the excellent shopfatal.com for $169.
