Since the tabloid set has made rehab the new St. Barts, it’s easy to forget that drug and alcohol recovery is serious business. This past Sunday afternoon at Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills, Fashion For Life 2007 raised funds for Friendly House, LA’s oldest recovery organization for women.Kristin Davis — pretty in LA designer Don Loper’s 1950’s-inspired mocha chiffon dress — presented the Vision Award to local vintage guru Cameron Silver of Decades. Attendees like Liz Goldwyn, Amber Valletta, Tracey Ross, and famous fit model Paige Adams Gellar watched models strut down the catwalk in local lines like Miss Davenporte, Corey Lynn Calter, Mike & Chris, Avita, Paige Premium Denim. A silent auction caused a bidding frenzy over Louis Vuitton and black quilted Chanel bags — classics, of course, for life.
