Armani builds Tokyo fashion palace
Et voila! Cate Blanchett flipped a switch and illuminated Giorgio Armani's 10-story shopping emporium in Ginza, Tokyo's most upmarket shopping and entertainment district. The tower includes floors for the first Armani spa, an Armani restaurant and plenty of room for his men’s and women’s collections of clothes and accessories.
The top floor of the steel and glass fashion palace is taken up by a penthouse. Not for Mr Armani, but for the man who owns the land that the structure was been built on.
As Giorgio Armani knows--it pays to keep your landlord sweet.
