McQueen's right on Target
For those of you who can't afford Alexander McQueen's $2,345 sequinned leggings, here's some good news—the British high fashion designer is launching a capsule collection at our very own Target. In March 2009, just a few aisles beyond the Method hand soap and and the $15 espadrilles, you'll find McQueen's rock n roll designs, with prices to fit even the most modest of pocket books.
Women's Wear Daily reports that McQueen's Target fabrics will feature edgy details such as studs and tattoo-print fabrics.
It's part of Target's new Designer Collaborations project, which will bring the styles of couture designers to the general public, all at Target prices. Alexander McQueen is the first designer to participate.
Long live the McQueen!
