Win a limited edition Veuve Clicquot Traveller

If your mom gets her kicks from champagne, why not gift her Veuve Clicquot Traveller (sic) this Momma's Day. It looks like a stylish mini tote...but inside, it's hiding a mini bottle of VC fizz. Designed to be the perfect carrier for a 375 ml bottle of Veuve, this Louis Vuitton-designed case keeps bubbles cool whether your mom's on the beach, at a garden party or running some pre-Mimosa errands. And once the contents are gone, she can use it as a cute handbag/vanity case/jewelery, simply by removing the cooling neoprene insulation from the inside. Buy here.
We have one Limited Edition Pink Veuve Cliquot Traveller to gift to a Stylephile reader (if you re-gift to your mom, we promise not to tell). To win, tell us about the last time you got drunk on champagne. Leave your answers in the comments section, and make sure to include your email address. Deadline is this Sunday, May 4!

If I could survive on cold champagne instead of water, I would. And anything that bubbles doesn't count...I'm so jaded when it comes to my french bubbly that anything sub-par would have to be spit out. The last time I actually got drunk off champagne was New Year's Eve and I joined friends in Arizona to kick off 2008. I was dating a man I was madly in love with, and I brought 2 bottles of nice vintage Krug along to celebrate the occasion. I didn't make it to midnight, and my lover and I didn't make it last longer than 6 months. My hangover passed, my broken heart healed, and now my only regrets are that I wasted 2 fabulous bottles of champagne on someone who obviously doesn't know the value of anything! Cheers!!

I last got drunk--not sloppy drunk--just pleasantly buzzed in a limousine, with my husband, driving around San Francisco! It was a great trip. We had a blast! lolatoo2@aol.com

Last time I got drunk on champagne was when I found out I wouldn't be entering the prestigious would of post-undergraduate education. With rejection letter in hand, I wandered around Las Vegas, bottle of cheap ass champagne in hand, telling every bartender that I was going to amount to nothing and punching/kicking walls and slot machines until a friendly barkeep gave me a bottle of Dom. It was empty, of course, but he said that perhaps it would be better if I was holding it and not the good ol' Korbel.

Last time I got drunk on champagne? Last night. Because Champagne is the staple of life. 3 things that I always have stocked in my home: toilet paper, Sparkling water and a bottle of champagne. C'est parfait! Champagne is the most lovely elixir for an evening with good friends and conversation. It is bubbly, fresh and sublime. In Paris, there is a special little bar devoted to champagne -- les etage in Le Marais. If you go there, you will know why champagne is the secret to life. And by the way, they only serve Veuve Clicquot there.

To celebrate the end of my breastfeeding days (and the return of alcohol to my diet - YEAH!),I bought myself a lovely bottle of Veuve to ring in the New Year ... only to fall asleep on the floor with the baby at 10:30 p.m.!! A few weeks later, a friend and I split the bottle over dinner while baby girl slept. After a year and a half alcohol-free (pregnancy + breastfeeding), that was the BEST BUZZ EVER - and better yet, no hangover the next day! I'm back in the swing, LOL! (flexablesistah@hotmail.com)

With my friend Joan about 6 years ago. We ended up having a push-up contest against our husbands. Nobody can recall who won. ldcharps@aol.com

I had done a three day cleansing fast - at the end of which I got an unexpected dinner invite - by a friend who was a marvelous cook. I was pretty hungry - so where I tried to eat light, I really overdid it - and overdrank champagne... and got sick... and got smarter... but ay-cheewowwah.

Ringing in the New Year with my family and fabulous Aunt Love- who survived breast cancer in 2007. And continues to kicks its ass in '08. Bring on the bubbly!! (chispas813@yahoo.com)

I was celebrating the opening of a wonderful production of Crimes of the Heart that I had directed at a small Southern College. I had received a bottle of Veuve as a break-a-leg and shared it with the cast and crew. It was the first time any of them had ever tasted really good champagne. The next night after the performance there were eight bottles of Veuve and we all had a high old time. The Sunday matinee the next day was a little shakey!

The last time I was drunk on Champagne was last April, on the evening that I got engaged. My now husband and I were in Hawaii and after he asked me (and I said yes), we went to the hotel bar overlooking the ocean. The waitress found out we had just gotten engaged and brought us a bottle of Champagne and a plate of strawberries, on the house. We never made our dinner reservation! (abby_keller@yahoo.com)

Every New Year's Eve, I go to NYC where my friend throws a one-of-a-kind party, complete with a rooftop view of the fireworks in Central Park. The best part is she has cases of chilled Veuve. The champagne never stops flowing! There's no better way to ring in the New Year than with friends, all tipsy on bubbly. (penelopej@yahoo.com)

The last time I was drunk on champagne was New Years Eve at the Eiffel Tower Paris France. I'd bought a bottle of Veuve Cliqout from the local market and with the plastic glasses from the Hotel Splendid I had one of the best New Years ever and didn't even have a headach the next day. LOL (kczarwood@yahoo.com)

Any excuse to drink Champagne could be a time to get trunk, but as a boring old lady, I think it was my birthday #60!!!!!!!!!!!

The last time I got really drunk on champagne was over Christmas. I belong to a garden club which is mainly composed of older (75+) women. Being in my 30s, it is always interesting sitting through their meetings, but I do it for my grandmother. Anyway, we had a Christmas party at my house and I convinced them we should have mimosas. It was quite possibly the funniest time ever. Almost every single one of them brought a bottle of champagen! Needless to say, the orange juice ran out way before the bubbly! Luckily, most of their husbands pick them up from the meetings-but I bet they were awful surprised to see their wives so "happy!" I was totally drunk by the end of the party and my husband even had to go and pick my daughter up from school! It was really a great day seeing all of the older ladies cut loose and enjoy themselves! Gotta love the bubbly!
