Les bijoux de Delphine-Charlotte Parmentier
Delphine-Charlotte Parmentier is a Parisian haute couture jewelry designer, and head of jewelry design at Chanel. She grew up surrounded by belts and buttons in her grandparents' workshop, so when she decided to devote herself to trinket-making it came as no surprise to anyone. She started out working with Jeanne Lanvin, Thierry Mugler and Claude Montana and in 1991, launched her own workshop. Fashion houses like Christian Lacroix, Emmanuel Ungaro, Chanel and Christian Dior became enamored of her work and in 1997, she opened her own boutique in the heart of the Marais district. Upstairs was her workshop, where she experimented with different materials, creating startling and original designs. Her eponymous collection is available at Intermix stores across the U.S., and at Lauren Rose Designs in Los Angeles. We love the new season's collection, which includes these Disco Ball Cube pieces (made to order only) which come in black, gray, purple and pink champagne. Fizz!
