Richard Tyler Closes Out (L.A.)
Another boutique bites the dust. But this closing is particularly regretful because it’s L.A.’s own Richard Tyler, whose looks have always given New York collections a run for their money (he dressed “Desperate Housewives’ ” Marcia Cross for the Globes). The silver lining? A whopping sale is under way with all inventory, including everything from Tyler’s warehouse, at least 60% off. If you don ’t mind imperfections like broken zippers, you can score gowns for as little as $200 (originally $1,800 +), cocktail dresses for $80 (originally $800+) and pants for $50 (originally $800+). Clothes in top- notch condition are also available, but for slightly steeper prices. And marrying types should make this a must-stop because Tyler’s beautiful bridal collection has been marked down, too. 7290 Beverly Blvd.< /a>, (323) 931-9678
