Summer Slough Off
Ah, September — time to shed those Mystic-tanned layers and embrace fall’s softer paler side. At once mouthwatering and refreshing, the Thom Fleming debut collection of sensuous Dead Sea salt body scrubs promises to keep limbs luminous. The aptly named Lemon Soufflé scrub is a perfect blend of citrus and sweetness that actually smells like the summery dessert while the Mochanilla welcomes autumn with its warm vanilla notes two-stepping with hints of coco and lemon. Fruity Rainbow Sorbet layers apple, raspberry, peach and lemon into a colorful array that remains sugary sweet but not sickenly so. Laced with vitamins and gritty enough to thoroughly polish, this is one scrub that will whip skin into cashmere sweater-wearing shape and keep it there until resort season. With a debut collection this good, we can’t for the encore. ($30, Thomflemingskincare.com)
