I met the lovely folks from Welcome Hunters while wandering around L.A.'s Chinatown earlier this year. The space, in the heart of one of the big dragon plazas, was being turned into a hot-house of international fashion design, they informed me, as they rolled paint on to the bare walls. Now six months on, I see they weren't kidding, with cutting-edge European designers like Jenny Hellstrom from Sweden, and Danish knitwear innovator Iben Hoj sitting side-by-side on the racks with homegrown favorite Built By Wendy.
The boutique is holding a 20% off sale (online included) until December 24, perfect for last -minute party dresses and gifts. We love this 100% cashmere number from Italian label BeaYukMui, $380 down from $420.
