Fergie Sells Out -- Not the Rat
When The Stylephile's gorgeous Mom got divorced in 1990 and came home with a new pair of Candie's, we knew she wouldn't be single for long. (We also implored her to set them on fire, but you know how difficult divorcee Moms can be.) Now, we hear that the Black Eyed Pea known as Fergie--the current face of Candie's--has accepted $4 million to somehow incorporate the iconic, your-condo-or-mine brand into her songs. You know our feelings on product placement and how we hate like Hell that so many super rich artists are willing to barter their integrity for a brand. We are so sickened by this transaction that we refuse to picture Fergie the pop star. Instead, we found this lovely image of Fergie the rat on worldofrats.com. This furry Fergie, by the way, refuses to endorse anything but a worldwide garbage strike.
