Mary-Kate's new chinchilla obsession

Loathe Mary-Kate Olsen and all that she stands for? Can't abide the skinning of innocent creatures in the name of fashion? Then you'll want to throw up all over this Leonello Borghi chinchilla carry-all, which has become the undernourished Olsen twin's favored carry-all du jour.
Please excuse this caustic introduction (blame the irritatingly cool L.A. weather), because actually, I'm a big fan of Borghi's designs. The Florence-born accessories designer worked in Paris with Prada for three years, before moving to New York where, in 1999, he worked with Giorgio Armani on his inaugural accessories collection. In the summer of 2001, he launched his premiere men’s accessories collection, debuting his first women’s accessories collection in 2002. Mary Kate's "Otto Shopper" is made of chinchilla and twin sister Ashley is also a proud owner of this caramel swirl fur bag.
Leonello Borghi recently created an exclusive collection for 'Barneys NY. Buy here.

Everyone has their faults... at least the twins have earned their success. And for people as famous as they are, it's refreshing that they haven't turned up in nude photo shoots. They don't seem to be the "reckless behavior" types, either. So the Olsens like their fur. So a lot of other celebs seem to enjoy alcohol, drugs, and very, er, enthusiastic partying. Celebs will be celebs, ne?

What a joke. This blurb starts: "Are you disgusted by this disgusting person's & designer's behavior?... Well not me, I'm feeling cool in L.A. and love them and the carmel colored swirls the animal skins make". Duhh. {Classic, dim-witted, fashion whore hard at work.}

A pair of hideous little cunts whose success defies raeson.

What's all the fuss... I think a bag made of Olsen-twin skins would look just fabulous. Please someone, hurry up and make one.

Yeah, she is gross as is those who love her. Bashing animals to make a stupid purse just really doesn''t do it for me.

Anyone who's ever seen a live Chinchillah would know how sad this is. I'm no member of PETA... but this is just disgusting. It makes a statement about what kind of trash exists in the world. When your personal beauty sacrifices hundreds of animals in third-world countries, something is very wrong. Shame on the designer and this ignorant girl.
