Zoo Animals
Many enduring cultures have embraced the healing properties of tea. The Japanese drink green tea, the Chinese sip oolong, Moroccans favor sweet mint and the British have English breakfast with milk and sugar every day at 4p.m. We Americans have adopted them all. Well favorite L.A. teashop Zen Zoo is now offering regular Tea Tasting Workshops so we can learn a thing or two about our drinking habits. The inaugural class this Sunday March 4th from 2p.m. to 4p.m. will include a Tea Revealed: The Naked Truth lecture followed by Slurp: Immodest Tea Cupping tasting. Next class will be held March 17th and will feature green tea in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Guess it must be tea time. $27 a person, RSVP (limited space): info@zenzootea.com or (310) 458-1888, Zen Zoo Tea Café, 230 S. Beverly Drive
