For those of us who live in L.A., 2008 could be the year our credit cards finally meet their match, with a slew of sexy new boutique openings in the works.
There's the new Balenciaga store, scheduled to open on Melrose early next year. Vera Wang is opening a bridal store on Melrose Place. Dolce & Gabbana are launching a D&G concept store on Robertson, in the space that had been filled by Maxfield Bleu on Robertson. The first Rock & Republic store should be open on Robertson by March or April. Chanel is opening a new concept store in a 3,500-square-foot space on Robertson.
And the one we're most excited about—Alexander McQueen himself is opening a store in Los Angeles in April.
Bring on the new year!
