When Doves Cry

Adina Reter launches her Dove collectionNothing took the edge out of skulls like over-saturation. To the chagrin of true bikers and rockers, countless girlie girls—hoping to skew just a little bit rock ‘n roll—donned the poison symbol. Unfortunately, nothing says, "Trying too hard," like a pink skull and crossbones. Let the trend die (please!) and give peace a chance instead with Adina Reyter’s new Dove necklace collection. In Reyter’s signature style, the elegantly abstracted symbol is classic and unique, rather than "on the nose." The large and small versions are available in 14-karat gold and sterling silver, while the multi-dove piece mixes the two metals. Look out for the designer’s new diamond adorned pendants, as well. So you can get an edge, rocking something that isn't already dead. $163-$1,062, adinadesign.com
