Quick Fix

Create:Fixate presents “Love. Beauty. And Desire.”Artists’ eyes are windows to the soul. That’s why Create:Fixate’s mixed media art event this Saturday is entitled, "Love. Beauty. And Desire." Another factor may have been that at 6 p.m. they’ll be screening feature length documentary, "Song of Songs" inspired by the filmmaker Chris Brickler’s grandparents’ 65th wedding anniversary. In addition the usual plethora of artwork, DJs and drinks will pervade. 4 p.m.-7 p.m.: $5/7 p.m. and on: $15, 1530 Ivar Ave., (310) 590-7199
