Weekend Warriors
This weekend you could go to yoga class, hike Runyon, see a movie at The Grove and have Sunday brunch at one of the Third Street spots—again. For a change of pace—on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.—head to The Vintage Expo. Eighty-five dealers will showcase period pieces ranging from 1850 to 1980 by designers like Halston and Bill Blass. Then on Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., join the fun at Sweeney Todd’s Barbershop's opening fête. Barber Todd Lahman has revamped the oldest barbershop in L.A., previously in business since 1927. Time for a late night snack at Celadon: The innovative fusion restaurant has just launched a Late Night Weekend Menu. Served from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., options include Grilled Cheese Paninis with Smoked Tomato Bisque and Pork Tonkatsu Saltimbocca. And maybe you can still find time for yoga.
