Sure, Lanvin’s black satin dress from the fall runway is a winner. But for a real show-stopper, check out Barneys’ vintage showcase, which will take you back to Lanvin, circa 1972. Ladies: Make your way to the 2nd floor tomorrow for pristine '70s and '80s vintage from Nina Ricci, Bill Blass, Valentino, Bob Mackie and more. Gents: Take it to the 3rd floor on Saturday for dibs on vintage tuxedos and suits from YSL, Gucci, Halston and Pierre Cardin.
