Art and Soul
Ever since Bono launched the Red campaign, Africa is the cause de jour in Hollywood. Well-known artists, actors and musicians are also dedicating their time to critically ill U.S. children though, thanks to Art of Elysium. Everyone from Kirsten Dunst to Joaquin Phoenix has shown support for the creative charity, which just launched their website and online gallery. So not only can you keep abreast of upcoming events and ways to help, but you can actually peruse and purchase art in the online gallery. Right now, take a gander at "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" or "That Hippy Gave Me A Pill," a collaboration between rock and roll photographer Henry Diltz and pop artist Russell Young. Otherwise shop in their online store for The Hollywood Cookbook with celebrity recipes, Rachel Abroms coin pendants or a Ria Ray Mantra Tie bracelet. Now that’s money well spent. $35 and up, theartofelysium.org
