Nor Easter
Some holiday traditions are universal: turkey on Thanksgiving, fireworks on July 4, and apparently eating eggs benedict at Easter Brunch. Every "special" menu in town seems to include a variation on the theme. Luckily there are alternatives to the celebratory norms: Saddle Peak Lodge will offer their "Kick-Ass-Chili" as a spicy Easter treat. Ex-pat New Yorkers may head to P6 in Agoura Hills for a bagels, cream cheese and lox appetizer. Think Easter is for the dogs? Head to The Haute Dog Easter Parade & Pet Adoption Fair in Belmont Shore and save a dog from being dyed pastel next year. The Easter Egg Hunt at Descanso Gardens borders on traditional, although the surroundings are extra beautiful and the event is happening on Saturday instead of Sunday. Oh and their brunch menu (on both weekend days) doesn't include eggs benedict.
