Variety's auction for St Jude hospital

Yesterday I received a sad email from a member of the Variety team—our online auction fundraiser for St Jude Children's Research Hospital is doing well, but not as well as had been hoped. "I don't know if it's the current economic climate," she wondered, asking if maybe the readers of The Stylephile would be able to help, before the auction closes today (at around 4 p.m.).
I checked out the items being auctioned and they are not to be sniffed at—a two night stay at the new London Hotel in West Hollywood (pictured), "High School Musical" memorabilia signed by Corbin Bleu (great holiday gift for your tween), the opportunity to be a guest at a scoring session with composer George S. Clinton, the original "Criminal Minds" script autographed by the entire cast, a "Righteous Kill" movie poster signed by Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, and a "Reno 911" costume signed by the entire cast (what a great Halloween outfit that would be!).
All proceeds will help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find cures for children with catastrophic illnesses through research and treatment. St. Jude covers all costs not covered by insurance for medical treatment, and families without insurance do not pay. St. Jude freely shares its research findings with doctors and scientists around the world.
