Tara Subkoff's Easy Spirit
Call it the odd couple of fashion collaborations. Easy Spirit, the ho-hum line of comfy walking shoes, has enlisted edgy Imitation of Christ designer Tara Subkoff to dream up a sexier collection of sandals, flats, pumps and boots. The shoe brand is shedding its perceived image with creations like slinky lace-up boots and chic round-toe pumps. Comfort is still a top priority, but Subkoff's fashion savvy does come at a price: Expect to pay $150-$695, which is a hike for the usually low-cost line. easyspirit.com
