Suite Charity
Generally pre-Oscar award suites are as indulgent as it gets. Free gifts for those who need them least are awarded with abandon, while the regular people read about the fest in tabloid rags with envy. This year though Haven presents American Photo’s Signature International with support from Sony on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a little something different. Photographs by artistic celebrities like Jessica Alba, Rachel Weisz, Forest Whitaker (pictured here), Susan Sarandon, Michael Madsen and Laura Harring will be showcased and then auctioned off for the general public at Christie’s later in March.
