Summer Corduroy
The danger with sporting a windbreaker is you can look like you're trying too hard to be retro or obviously ironic (take heed, Members Only jacket wearers). J.Crew has a new take on the coat with its corduroy version for men in dark straw or pinecone, lined in plaid. The result is contemporary—casual enough for everyday, but with details like buttoned cuffs and adjustable waist tabs at the back, which allows it to be slightly dressed up. $128, jcrew.com
