Learning the Gospel
A dream brunch might include pastries, biscuits, bacon, and a cheese omelet with chocolate chip pancakes on the side. This weekend though some actresses are adjusting their interpretation for "I Have a Dream"® Foundation’s 9th Annual Gospel Brunch. Host Jennifer Garner—with the help of Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Lil’ JJ—will honor guests Tyra Banks, Debra Martin Chase (producer, Princess Diaries, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and Silvio Horta (executive producer, Ugly Betty) with the Dream Keeper’s Award for their commitment to promoting achievement for at risk children in L.A. Although this particular brunch is invite-only, House of Blues regularly hosts Sunday gospel brunches for the public—so you can dream a little dream too. 8430 Sunset Blvd., (323) 848-5100
