Roberto Cavalli's H&M partay

Bringing a taste of haute couture to the masses, the results of Roberto Cavalli's collab with H&M will hit stores tomorrow, with the emphasis on cocktail party decadence. Although it must be said that some of his ruffle-shirted looks would work just as well behind, as well as in front of, the bar.
Cavalli follows in the footsteps of other traditionally high fashion designers like Viktor & Rolf, Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney in creating his own collection for the Swedish apparel giant. The stand-out pieces, in our opinion, are the metallic lame pleated halter gown and the handful of sexy cocktail dresses in his trademark animal print chiffon.
The 30 women's styles (and around a dozen men's) are launching in more than 200 H&M stores country-wide. Which means there's a fair chance you might bump into your "Cavalli for H&M" doppelganger at a few holiday bashes this year.
Our advice? Accessorize to individualize.
