Loser Pays All
Among friends, there’s nothing worse than the tussle over a restaurant check. Even worse? That silly back and forth over who drank more Pinot or who ordered the torte, when calculating the split. How to settle up without the awkward exchange? My husband and I play a game of gin rummy—sometimes, best out of three—to determine who has the honor of pulling out the plastic.
