Final Project

Project’s last showIt’s closing time. You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay in summer beach bungalows, eat at Cobra Lily, or see John Tucker Must Die (except in Lancaster). As of 1a.m. on Sunday morning, you won’t be able to see another Project art exhibition either, at least until December. At 8p.m. on Saturday you can, however, celebrate their last hurrah in the current space with "People Who Like to Make Stuff," a show featuring live painting by The Love Movement, plus work by artists including RCVA clothing creator Alex Knost and pro surfer Mike Losness. DJ’s Vinyl Richie and Pistol Pete will spin and the Gray Kid will perform, while art lovers sip cocktails and mingle. A portion of the proceeds will help South American kids in need thanks to sponsor Tom’s Shoes. $10 cover, 5016 Venice Blvd., project.bz
