The Other Shoe
When it comes to tops, you cut, pull, push, belt and pin. Style for you is about playing and mixing things up. Until you reach your feet that is. With shoes, you’re pretty much stuck with that one look. Unless you indulge in British-Peruvian designer Marcello Toshi’s new fall/winter line. In amazingly vibrant colors and layered textures from kidskin to suede to leather, Toshi’s new boots, heels and flats were inspired by "the tactile, tangible, and malleable." Styles like the Cabayo (or "horse") come in striking colors like pink and red with white ribbons, which hang down the back like a tail and can be tied in various ways. Equally striking three-tone Campera boots and Shrug booties can also be scrunched and pulled and plied to match your personal style. $243 and up, store locations: marcellotoshi.com
