The Conscientious Fashionista
Philanthropy and fashion married last night to spectacular results when former stylist Simone Porter opened her Eagle Rock boutique, Lily Simone, to the Juniors of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Juniors members shopped labels Topin, Ella Moss, Geren Ford, Anna Corrina and Mimo while sipping champagne, noshing on mini quiches, Brie and crudities and knowing 20 percent of all proceeds benefit the Children's Fund of CHLA. Jeweler Leanna Lin was on hand hawking her vintage cabochons hairpins and Czech glass jewelry, the vintage glass Rooster pin is worth the trek to up-and-coming Eagle Rock. Porter also stocks trendy gold bangles, deeply discounted sample Botkier bags and an eclectic assortment of house wares.
The Juniors of CHLA is a fundraising group of young woman in the L.A. area dedicated to supporting Childrens Hospital Los Angeles' mission.
