Get Holly's Sleep Mask

Get Holly's sleep maskThe iconic image of Audrey Hepburn (as Holly Golightly) with her nose pressed up against the glass of Tiffany’s never wowed me. I have always preferred the vision of Holly with a hellacious hangover, cursing the "mean reds" or demons of depression. Want the look without all the existential angst? Check out Fred Flare’s satin replica — replete with faux lashes and stitched eyebrows — for just $14. Is there a cuter gift? I think not. And if you post a great hangover cure, you could WIN A CHIC SWAROVSKI KEY CHAIN ($75; swarovski.com) encrusted with crystals. Go to the Stylephile and tell us how to banish the aftermath of a bender. Tomorrow at noon, I will post a winner. *Hiccup* -- Monica Corcoran

AND THE WINNER IS: Hungover Cure for Me. Why? Because the remedy included an attire, routine, and encouragement to just be lazy when suffering the mean reds. Pls. e-mail me at Monica.Corcoran@variety.com to claim your Swarovski key chain. THANKS to everyone for comments too. Monica

Wake-up -- roll out of bed -- take two aspirin with a tall glass of water -- draw warm bath -- prepare cold compress to place on forehead during bath -- put on comfy sweats & flip-flops -skip the hair & make-up routine (just a pony-tail, sunscreen & big shades) -- grab coffee on way to breakfast joint for greasy/carb chow & gossip with the girls -- juice it up with carbs over a long, lazy brunch -- head home for day of sleep & reading mags & paper in bed!

Before you crash (if you can remember!) -- 1) large glass of water; 2) advil -- in the mid-day ("your morning") -- lots of juices, advil, and protein with carbs (a juicy hamburger w/ salty fries always works for me!)

Airborne and a bottle of water before passing out/blacking out; in the morning, a fountain Diet Coke, and Carbs, Carbs, Carbs!!

Over the years I've had many people share their secret cures for a nasty hangover. But let's be honest; nothing beats a bottle of water, a toilet, and a nap in a dark room. If that doesn't work for you, you can always stand by the popular phrase, "Know your limit!"

HEY HOLLY! The Secret History is one of my favorite books. Poor Bunny Corcoran! Did you read The Little Friend? -- Monica

Why is it that we're always looking for a hangover cure when someone should really work on making an alcohol that doesn't make you feel like you want to die the next day!

I have two words for you - Jamba Juice! The boost of sugar and vitamins always gets me back on track.

Root Beer Float. The simple combination of root beer and ice cream is surprisingly effective at battling many aspects of the common hangover. As explained in Donna Tartt's The Secret History, the fizz and dairy calm your stomach, the caffeine and sugar go to work on the headache, and the overall fluid content starts in on the dehydration.

You want a sure fire cure to a major hangover, it answer is Vitamin B. Pills will work, but if you can get your doc to write a prescription for the injectable kind~it is like a miracle cure. You can go from thinking that the end is near to out on the town shopping within a half hour!

The best cure for a hangover is to NOT drink the night before!!! Ok, if that does not work for you, try taking two (2) Tylenol Rapid Release gels with plenty of water prior to hitting the bed, and do it again when you wake up if you feel the need - - POOF, no hangover!

1 pony glass of ice-cold coca cola (original not diet) to wash down an extra-strength headache powder...Goody's works best. Take 2 ice cubes and hold to both temples for about 30 seconds...jump into the shower...good as new!
