Never can say goodbye
"Sorry" isn't the hardest word—good bye is, especially when it comes to your favorite, most crucial lipstick or foundation. We've all had that moment, you know, when after 15 years of happy co-dependency, your go-to product suddenly vanishes from the shelves, with no time even for a farewell funeral service. Realizing the emotional trauma this causes, the thoughtful folks at Lancôme have launched a new page on their site called Beauty Bye Bye, which tells you which of their products have been targeted for termination. This allows you the opportunity to panic bulk-buy, while affording you enough time to find a suitable replacement product.
I learned, for example, that the Magic Matte soft perfecting mousse will soon be toast, as will the Star Bronzer and certain loose powder eyeshadows. Oh well. Never liked those anyway.
