If the Shoe Fits
It’s hard not to have a love/hate relationship with shoes. When you discover a line you love, you hate that you can’t have them all. Well, Dolce Vita has probably elicited that initial response from many a heel whore—until she checked the prices and found they were (gasp!) reasonable. Well, we all grinned huge when the lauded shoe line opened their Melrose shop this fall. It couldn’t get better than that. Or could it? Now the brand has opened their online boutique to the satisfaction of web shoppers everywhere and launched a clothing line to accompany their slouchy boots, buckled platforms, booties and scooped out Maryjane flats. Now shoppers can peruse items like puff-pocketed jersey dresses, corduroy military jackets and darted leggings, all simultaneously feminine and edgy just like their shoes. $120 and up, shopdolcevita.com
