Tart and Tangy

There are lots of excuses for indulging at weekend breakfast: hangovers, the "it’s Sunday so all bets are off" rule, "the rest of the day awaits to work it off" delusion. Now at Tart in the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel there’s a new reason to indulge any day of the week: all-you-can-eat pancakes for $4.95. Obviously this menu option has escaped from a down-home road-trip diner and made a run for the coast, as the traditional sweet treat is served with fresh Cinnamon Maple Syrup and Whipped Butter. Other fresh from the Farm(er’s daughter hotel) breakfast bites include everything from Warm Walnut Sour Cream Coffee Cake to the Spanish Scramble with Andouille Sausage, Potatoes, Green Onions, Roasted Piquillo Peppers, Tomatoes, Smoked Paprika and Manchego Cheese—all of which sound like iron-clad reasons to give in to temptation even on weekdays.
