clubculinaire.orgIf you thought Memorial Day Weekend was jam-packed with plans, try cramming this weekend's great events into an average two-day break. Activities are everywhere, starting with the Natural History Museum’s First Friday Fiesta. From 5 p.m. to 10 pm. at "Point Break," explore "biodiversity at the ocean’s edge" through screenings, tours, talks and even performances by Autolux and Deerhoof. On Saturday, head to LACMA’s free self-guided Culver City gallery Art Walk from noon until 8 p.m. Then hop over to the post-Art Walk MUSE party at H.D. Buttercup for cocktails, DJs and a live performance by Giant Drag. On Sunday, non-profit event Le Tour de France Culinaire, 27th Annual Picnic Des Chefs at Elysian Park’s Old Lodge from (11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) will boast delectable offerings by chefs from Josie, Joe’s, The Beverly Wilshire, Jonathon Club, The Hotel Bel-Air, Pacific Dining Car and more. Then Sunday evening at The Orpheum Theatre (7:30 p.m.), check out "What A Pair!," a charity concert hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis, benefiting The John Wayne Cancer Institute. Marg Helgenberger (CSI), Loretta Devine (Dreamgirls, Grey’s Anatomy), Joely Fisher (Desperate Housewives) and many more will be performing in the Broadway musical review.
