How green is your Christmas tree?

I know, I know...you've barely finished devouring your turkey, and here I am harping on about Christmas trees already.

But I thought you might be interested to know that growers in Oregon, the top Christmas tree-producing state in the country, have created a system by which you can buy trees that have been responsibly-grown.

Meaning no over-use of pesticides, and adherence to water and soil conservation standards.

Look out for the Coalition of Environmentally-Conscious Growers tag, expected to hang from 200,000 trees this year. Call 201 843 5600 for more information.
