Can’t Hold a Candle to the Finns
Germany and Sweden, eat your hearts out: May is Finnish Design Month at the MOMA Stores (who knew?), and they’re marking the occasion with several cool products -- one of which is particularly striking. The deceptively simple lantern candleholder by young Finnish designer Harri Koskinen makes a tea light look as if it’s floating in thin air with a barely-there steel insert. Looks like the Finns are definitely in with home decor. $55, momastore.org
