Warehouses don’t generate too much excitement. They’re generally large storage spaces where boxes of supplies line shelves (duh). Occasionally in mafia movies they’re used to store kidnapped victims with fabric-stuffed mouths who are tied to chairs and tortured for information. Not exactly a big draw for the normal fashion-friendly gal. That is until the invention of the Warehouse Sale. This weekend, on Saturday and Sunday (10/14 and 10/15) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Michelle Mason will be selling her coveted wares for wholesale prices. Thanks to Mason’s high-design jackets, pants, dresses and tops, this warehouse actually merits excitement. And while the mobsters probably won’t come out to play, shoppers might still keep their guard up. After all, once in the zone, women in pursuit of new clothing can be scary, too. Wholesale prices and below, 2444 E. 8th St., (213) 621-9270, michellemason.net
