Cartier Redux (L.A.)

Cartier’s newly renovated storeFirst came the D&G men’s salon, then Prada. Now one of the final pieces of the Rodeo Drive-makeover puzzle is in place with the relaunch of the Cartier store. Doors opened two days ago to the newly renovated, expanded space, which features a soaring showroom filled with classic timepieces and statement jewels, a second-floor service office (reached by a red leather-upholstered elevator), and a lavish rooftop for special events. An official opening bash will take place May 9, with a host committee that reads like a laundry list of industry players, from Brad Grey to Debra Messing to Martin Scorsese. 370 N. Rodeo Dr., (310) 275-4272
