CA Boom Chick-a-Boom
Watering holes and eateries often boast that their spaces feel “just like your own ideal living room." Tim Clarke’s hot design/furniture shop may actually merit that description. This evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the design world’s best will gather at Tim Clarke to sip bubbly and nosh hors d’oeuvres in honor of Italian designers Francesco and Marco Gillia of Bottega Montana. Although the brothers’ impeccably crafted contemporary pieces constructed out of hardwood from sustainable forests and finished with hand rubbed tung oil will surely pull focus, this event is also a kick-off party for CA Boom 4: The West Coast Independent Design Show at the Barker Hanger this weekend. In a design-obsessed city like L.A., this weekend there is nowhere else to be.
